In conjunction with Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, here are some practical and helpful thoughts brought to you with love by LINetS (Life Inspired Network Society), where we seek to inspire life specifically through suicide prevention. |

| 1. Suicide can affect anyone. Surrounded with different stressors in our daily routine, everyone is at risk of reaching their breaking points, including Christians. |
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
| 2. Why suicide? The reason behind suicidal ideation is because people have reached a point where they are unable to cope with their underlying emotional pain. Hence, they consider suicide as an option with the intention to end the pain within them. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 3. Is it ok to talk about suicide?Yes, it is! Talking to someone about suicide doesn’t put the idea of suicide in their head, instead, it allows them to talk about it and get help. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 4. There is HOPE.Behind every reason of pain, there’s still a reason to hope. It’s ok to say that you’re not doing alright. Reach out and talk to someone today. |

This coming October, LINetS and Taylor’s University are co-organising Subang Jaya’s first ever Community Mental Wellness Fair themed “HOPE, Again.“ by gathering industry experts under one roof.
The aim of this fair is to create awareness on mental health and suicide prevention in our community. Therefore, come with an expectant heart and discover various counselling services available, as well as fun booths, workshops, debates and even an escape room! |
