A Game for Unity

Founded 19 years ago, Acts Church has since grown from 3 people to nearly 3,000 to date, across 34 churches in 8 nations – with a clear mission to “make disciples that will make the difference”.

Radical unity is one of the key elements that has contributed to this growth. We created a game and invited four leaders who have been around for some time to play this game, and share candidly with us…

Pastor Kenneth shared at the Ipoh Pastors’ Fellowship about DREAM Malaysia and FairStival.

The young leaders also joined together in planning for FairStival Ipoh, tentatively set on 6 – 7 of March 2020. Mark your calendars!

Acts Iskandar just turned two last month! Greater days ahead!
It was an amazing time of fellowship and fun where over 80 campers took time out to seek God together! Acts Iskandar joined in as well as a few key leaders from Acts KL!
Our Japanese Fellowship meets once a month, bringing God’s love and also a small slice of Japan to Japanese living here. Pray with us as we prepare to plant a church in Osaka.
We were privileged to have Dato’ Jerald Gomez to share his faith journey with God at Acts Men Devotion.

Acts Men Devotion happens monthly at every third Tuesday at DVCC. Calling all Men Huddles to come join us for the next meet on 17 September!
482 ladies showed up at Bloom 2019! Our keynote speakers, Pr Sandra Chin, Dr Christina Phang and Juwita Suwito shared inspiring messages coupled with their real-life stories in line with this year’s theme, “Rhythms of Grace”. We also had 24 workshops, special orchestra and dance performances, as well as a talk show featuring ladies from various seasons of life. It was truly a good time together!
It was great connecting with teens through our annual sports tournament. This year, 164 players participated in five sports: Futsal, Captain Ball, Dodgeball, Basketball, and Floorball.

We appreciate all 40 volunteers who made this possible! Also special thanks to Sunway University for sponsoring their facilities!
Acts will be launching a brand new bilingual service (English-Bahasa) this September through our central 11am service starting from 15 September. You can bring your Bahasa speaking friends to join us!

Little Legends’ had their inaugural Sports Day on 10 August, which saw 32 children and their families joining in for a great time of fun!

The BASICS Multi-Sport Holiday Programme kicked off on 26 August at 3K Sport Complex Subang Jaya with a total of 16 kids from Victory Academy and 9 (Orang Asli kids) from Promise Home. The kids had the opportunity to try out and learn multiple sports skills such as cricket, futsal, dodgeball and captain’s ball. The 3-day programme was a collaboration between Dream Village Cricket Academy (DVCA), Dream Village Football Academy (DVFA), and BASICS.
