Acts e-Newsletter (November 2019 Issue)

DVFA is hosting the Sunway Dream League, a community grassroots league held at Sunway University.

Over 100 children from marginalised communities including the Rohingya refugees, stateless families from Chow Kit street, and the Orang Asli community were sponsored to play and showcase their talents.

With the tagline #RightToPlay, we strive to give them the opportunity to play football despite their challenging circumstances.

The children each received a player I.D where they can enjoy privileges at several participating outlets such as Tealive and Figos.

Pastor Tryphena, Executive Director of Pursuing Liberty Under Christ (PLUC) shared on the topic of Gender Identity and the critical periods of gender imprinting.

The talk was followed by a rich session of Q&A where parents asked Pastor Tryphena and Pastor Andy for practical guides to help their children grow into secure and confident members of their birth genders.

The parents are happy that Meet The Parents are happening once every quarter and have suggested for more parenting topics in 2020.
